New York City Trip 2023
Where, what and when:
Independence Fine Arts will be traveling to New York City. Each group will be spending time at historic New York landmarks, watching Broadway shows, and enjoying some of the world’s finest works of art.
While in New York, students will see three Broadway shows, have personalized theatre/art workshops, and visit some of New York’s finest neighborhoods.
The students will travel by charter bus. We will leave Independence High School on Thursday February 23, 2023 and return to Independence HS on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
Expenses:
$700 Total Cost per Student Payments and Cancellations:
All those wishing to go on the Trip must make timely payments in order to insure their place on the trip. Please understand that we are not a travel agency, we all share in the expense of the trip, especially transportation. We have to meet certain deadlines and we pay for everything as we move along in the process.
Cancellation Policy:
NO REFUNDS! Because we are purchasing tickets, reserving buses, and securing hotel accommodations we WILL NOT be able to offer any refunds. Students who reserve a spot on this NYC Trip should maintain both their attendance and grades to be eligible to attend.
Payments:
This trip will be handled on a first come-first served basis. There will only be two buses. In previous years, this trip has filled up quickly. Once the buses are full, the trip is closed. It is important to maintain a good standing with your payments. Please make all payments via SchoolCashOnline. No other forms of payment can be can be accepted. Please understand that the cost listed below is subject to change based on availability of workshops and Broadway tickets.

All students in good standing with the school who paticipate in ITPA classes or productions or advanced Art classes are eligible to go on the trip. Expressing interest does not guarantee participation. Teachers have final discretion regarding trip participants.
