SEASON 3: TRANSFORMATION

Marvellous

Marvellous is the first show of the 2021-2022 season! This production was ITPA's first ever radio show! The show was filmed during the zoom calls of Theatre Arts and edited together as a radio play! The cast played worked hard to showcase their story without having a live audience!

Puffs

Puffs was the Fall play of the 2021-2022 season! This show was a comedic re-telling of a well-known wizard named Harry told from the perspective of the Puffs! The cast and crew worked hard to bring the show to life with comedic timing and special effects!

Radium Girls

Radium Girls was ITPA's second competition show! The cast traveled all the way to regionals with this peice! The show tells the tragic story of the radium girls, women who were exposed to harsh chemicals in factories, and the challenges they faced during their life.

Into the Woods

One of Sondheim's greatest shows, Into the Woods, was one of our 2021-2022 Musical Theatre class productions! The cast, playing out their various fairytales, worked hard to show the challenges their characters faced. The crew transported the audience "into the woods" with our wonderful set, costumes, and more! It was truly an amazing production, and the first of our 2022 musicals!

Disenchanted!

Disenchanted told the story of famous Disney princesses, with a twist! These princesses were fed-up with their fairytales and wanted to write their own stories! With challenging stories and difficult themes, our other musical theatre class worked hard to produce this show! It was hillarious, upbeat, and a wonderful tale of how to make your own happily ever afters.

Mary Poppins

Mary Poppins was ITPA's first ever performed Spring musical, as well as first Cappies musical! The story follows the Banks' family and their adventures with a new magical nanny, Mary Poppins. The cast worked hard to learn difficult dances, songs, and characterizations! The crew made all the magic possible with sets, magic props, and helping Mary Poppins fly! Our show received 10 Cappies nominations, including  Best Musical, allowing us to perform our number "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" at the Kennedy Center! Katie Phillips, our Umbrella cast Mary, won Best Lead Actor in a Female Role in a Musical, ITPA's first Cappies win!
